# About me
Hey everyone, I'm Alex Martel, a tall bearded bloke from Québec, Canada. I'm a graphic designer by profession but a comic book artist by heart. I'm currently doing a comic called "The Slashers" that both parodies and pays hommage to horror movies, classics and not so classics. Rest assured that they're NOT drawn in a chibi/manga style (I consider my style much more European than anything else. Comics like Astérix, Achilles Talon and Kid Paddle were big influences), and the characters don't behave COMPLETELY differently from their movie counterparts. hey i don't know if i told you by my major in college is professional interpurting for the deaf. and today in class, we were learning the the places around the world and canada came up, in american sign terms, this is how you sign canada. make you hand into a fist, stick out your thumb, and right below your shoulder, tap your fist twice on to that spot. how the deaf came up with that, maybe they observed your military and the object of holding a gun right under the shoulder sybolizes that nations power.

Just wondering though, will some of the series' "survivors" ever make a guest appearance? (Example: Nancy Thompson, Alice Johnson (Nightmare); Tommy Jarvis, Tina Sheperd, Rennie Wickham (Friday)... etc)
