I do not hate it but I am growing a dislike to it because it's all so homogenous to me. Where anime characters do not look the same they act the same, and where they do look the same they cease to have little more identity than a swap of hair styles and a mild variation in word and obsession choice. Stories can vary, sometimes even come across as beautifully original, and but mostly it's less originality and more "pre made themes from a hat". Humor is derived largely by visual gags designed to portray characters as overly simplified variants of themselves which can be highly creative, but in terms of dialogue these gags are dominated by the same old same old "I'm not X, you're X!" argument or the immature "Don't call me X and you're not exactly Y, you know!" shouting contest. In closing, I say that I appreciate tradition in art, but I will not stand for cliche. Now that I've said that, tell me where else than in this statement have I ever foreshadowed any hatred of anime? I myself enjoy a light yaoi novel before I go to bed.

We of the Art Society thank you for your patience. The mass deletion has been finished and Brother _ _ _ _ _ _ has finished his right of purification. We are sorry to those of you who are saddened to have discovered that the faves have been removed, but remember that Van Gogh never let that pull him down. Given he lived in poverty, was virtually unknown, was discovered AFTER he died, and sliced off his ear, but nevertheless, he wasn't a go-downer.
