Thanks for the birthday wishes. Haven't received anything as of yet, and I'm told by another friend that her card should have arrived by now too. It would be perfect timing to get everything now.

So far the best "gift" I've received was part 2 of the DBZ movie manga. I read some commentary that the manga may actually be better than the movie. That would kind of suck. Hope that's not the case.

And the next episode is the chess episode. It's like, they're literally doing the exact opposite of the previous arc where they kept the generals, instead of them just dying off screen. I just sat there going "But, but... she becomes a good guy and friends with the... okay, guess not." I did like that Tuxedo Mask suddenly become a little more relevant, and has his battle stick now.

I desperately wanted a new intro. Don't know why we didn't.

I don't get why this series has NO funding. They already have a fanbase who is old enough that they can afford to buy DVDs and box sets and they are instead spending $15 per episode.

I like the girl power too, but if he's going to be in it, at least make him competent and not just a human shield.

I'd be curious to know what they're spending their budget on. Maybe they didn't have time to come up with a new song because of the Momoiro Clover Z vs. KISS collab concert.
Speaking of which, I just heard the "Party All Night" remix duo that Momoiro Clover Z vs. KISS did together, on Jeremy's radio show, and I AM HORRIFIED! Kill it with fire!!! I blame Ozzy's sanity, and Gene's greed.

I don't know, when I saw Princess Serenity open up her eyes and then see all the scouts on the floor, I thought they had different designs than in the new series! Better ones, even XD

Yeah, I commented on it on her page as well. She didn't watch it because it was kind of spoilerific. I didn't actually notice any 90's style in there, no. I was too distracted by the cgi to really enjoy it. Especially the attacks. Lazy. Still, I'm glad the series is out. I just won't be purchasing it.

If the series came out with special extras or goodies, I'd consider buying it. And even then, it'd be too expensive for me so that's also a no from me. But yeah, SO disappointed with the attacks too! Even the latest nth version of Precure got some attack sequences, based on Tumblr photosets. Just blegh.
