it took me 3 to 4 weeks to make it. It was a year before i started Ankama, therefore 2007.
i started ankama in 2008 and the first bg i did was this one :Β Β www.artstation.com/artwork/oA9β¦
It took me 1 week thanks to some ankama tricks (also i never used aΒ flash symbol before)

It is really awesome to watch how an artwork done by Flash. Although I usually used Photoshop to draw, the process is still helpful to me for making background.

Hi! Just wanted to quickly say that I absolutely love Harold, how it looks sounds and feels. It's just so fun and entertaining, I really wish there were more games like this being made. Made me feel a bit of nostalgia as well. I especially love the art style and the humor that's put into it, I think you did a spectacular job and I really admire your work. Those enviros are awesome!
I really want to create my own style some day and I make it just as simplistic, colorful and atmospheric as yours. Could you maybe give me a few tips, like... what kind of practice did you do most?

Harold is my first project as an Art Director, i hope there is gonna be more.
For the tips, i can only tell you to keep working hard and watch tutorials of artists you like. there is nothing you can't achieve with dedication and hard work.
