# About me
So this is me. Dan. In my 20s I used to work as a graphic designer / computer operating agent. From my first day in the business I became a computer and especially an Apple geek.But truth is : market going down, I had to « recycle » into something else. I once worked as a photo equipment retailer, thus, it goes to show that I CAN BE COOL (and uncool sometimes) whether behind a computer screen or a store desk. But actually I wasn’t meant to do that all my life.
Today I earn my daily bread as a graphic designer and writer for a insurance company.
I’m jewish and I belong to this branch of the jewish community called as tradionnalist. I have to precise that I truly respect all religions existing worldwide. Except one which pisses me off big time : human stupidity.
I also like music, especially music. Nietzsche used to say that : Without music life would be a mistake. I don’t know this Mr Nietsche but I agree with him big time. I live for music, waiting to make a living on it. I once played drums in a Queen coverband. Besides I’ve recorded covers revisited on my Myspace page. I played drums and sing backing vocals for O.D.I.L. Also I used to write music for them. Now I left 'em and life's just brighter. I'm seriously thinking of coming back in DoReMI a french musician company specialized in playing OST from video games and anime. I also write articles on music on Chromatique.net a website dealing with progressive music. I even wrote an article on the influence and importance of graphic design in Progressive Music including interviews of several today's top designers as well as up & coming artists.
Added to music, I’m a huge comic book fan. For as far as I can remember, I can appreciate almost anything coming out from the pens & pencils of Humberto Ramos, Dave Mc Kean, Alex Maleev, Frank Miller, Joe Madureira, Brian Michael Bendis or Marc Silvestri. Jeez, list is long and it is extended to art in general. Therefore I can appreciate pieces coming out of the brain of Hugh Syme, Dave Mc Kean, Mark Wilkinson, Niklas Sundin, Storm Thorgerson. I also love writers like Lesley Choyce, Neil Gaiman and Neil Peart to name a few.
I also LOVE photography. With music it is one of my essential hobbies. That's why I joined DA
