Tools of the Trade: earlier - photoshop, but now, professionally, i'm retired. as an amateur photograph, i use canon g9; for fractals - apophysis, ultrafractal...

# About me
i'm an elderly (vintage '61) amateur artist-wannabe, just curious to see what am able to accomplish, i.e. manifest my ideas that i conceive or stumble upon!...(joined da in 2008 as an photographer, and haven't been active ever since (i reactivated in december 2011). whereas i'm still in photography, i'm an absolute beginner re: fractals!...) ;-}
(edit 2015: ok, intermediate user!...) ;-}
as to photos - all are shot with a canon g9 attached to my pc, i.e. from the circle of 2m radius around the computer (stationery)!...
oh, and please do understand that i highly appreciate all your comments & favs and am truly grateful for them (i live the attitude of gratitude), yet cannot (technically - i type very slowly) answer all of them (so i generally put just a :-} ), nor communicate smoothly! i apologize for that in advance, please don't take me to be unpolite!
also, for the same reason, i don't do featuring (although i'm aware many of you deserve to be featured), nor do i mention in my own deviations whether they were featured & by whom!...
