It is just a token of appreciation. Some people collect them trying to get the most they can possibly get, while other people seem to ignore the fad completely. I just give them to anyone who faves my work as a thank you card of sorts.

I think you have to leave a lot of comments on other people's work in order for them to take notice...There are so many great artists on this site that it is easy to get lost, or not get noticed...
