You should have. The battle of Forli is an alright DLC extra bit of story but it's the bonfire of the vanities you'll want to play. It shows Ezio's character development. Unfortunately to play the second one (the bonfire one) you need to play the first one. I ended up getting the 'game of the year' edition which has it on disk so I had no idea it was DLC on my first play through.
