Well, I saved my frames as PNGs which Beneton then converted to GIF frames within the program. If I had straight GIFs, they would have a white background so that might be a possible solution.

Well, yeah, I do the same thing, and am forced to use a white BG because, well, the transparency just isn't great. Thanks anyway, though.

You can make one with Ultimate Fella Avatar Kit by ¢keiross if you have Fireworks!

These avatars are not for public use, although I have quite a few in my gallery that you are welcome to choose from.

Downloading the Avatar Kit should be fine for your laptop (you'll need a program like Fireworks to edit your Fella and animate it).
If you're still wary, you may request a personal Fella avatar from `catluvr2 if you ask nicely

Photoshop is an option. You may copy and paste a blank Fella (say from the Avatar Kit deviation [link] ) into Photoshop and then edit it any way you want. However, unless you have a more recent Photoshop, you won't be able to animate it.

(If you still want to try working with the Avatar Kit on your own, you may download a trial version of Fireworks from Adobe [link] . It will only last for about 30 days, but it will give you enough time to animate your avatar).
