I'm currently studying abroad in Kyoto, Japan, finishing up the rest of my electives for my Asian Studies major, and will graduate this Fall. Still have no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life, though, and it's driving me nuts.
I am a relatively active and somewhat decent roleplayer, and you can usually find me roleplaying over IM, on select forums or on Digis. My characters all tend to be boys and are for the most part gay or bisexual, they're just who I've gotten used to playing. I love drama, romance, angst, pretty much all of the above, and any setting is okay with me. I generally tend to write a bit too much but I am pretty flexible when it comes to roleplaying with others. XD

Wow, 4 years, huh? That's a long time to be in Okinawa.... o_o You're really lucky though, for him to be stationed in Japan rather than the much more dangerous parts of the world. :/ Are you planning on learning any Japanese while you're there?

Yeah I was really excited to hear that we were be going to Japan, but I don't know about 4 years! I'll just have to deal with it, I mean what else am I going to do? We do want to learn at least some Japanese while we are out here, so that way we can communicate better when we go off base. That or i need to find a Japanese person out here to be friends with XD
They were so excited to hear that they were going to be able to keep her! They actually said once or twice that they some what wished she would fail the program just so that they could keep her. And this way she gets to keep her service dog status and will be easier to transport to California and back! I think I posted a few pictures here on DA, let me see if I can find them.

Yeah, 4 years is a long time to be in a country you've never lived in before. I think I would be really scared if I was there that long. ^^ I can give you ideas for lots of things to do, haha! What does your hubby have to do while in Okinawa, any special stuff?
