Yeah, it's tough. Most HE courses are now capped at an intake of 18 per year, so competition is fairly hot. For what it's worth you really need to get in early and with either a decent set of grades or a top notch portfolio.

I don't really subscribe to the 'where' photography technique ... I'm more of the 'what' camp. I like to shoot things that I find visually interesting; raindrops falling in puddles, macros of little details, things with bold or interesting colours.

You should be out there in the snow right now ... lots of interesting stuff to shoot, even in your own garden Nod Nod Nod Nod Nod

Yea first day i snowed i was out at about 10am and i got some good shots.
But i only do photograhpy on days that i'm off work.
Think i'll stick to the garden snow shots for a while.
Although i noticed the mourn mountains were covered in snow, so i hope to get up there sometime :D (Big Grin)
