haha, very good question! it's amazing what the offer of a job and a place to stay and forge a survival will do to a lost and wandering young man.
I can't wait till my lease is up and i can boot-scoot right on out of this town.
So what's your familiarity with this quaint little valley hamlet?

My sister lives in Ukiah, otherwise I would never drive the 2 1/2 - 3 hours up there.
I make the trek about once a month.
There isn't a damn thing to do in that town on a Friday and Saturday night.
Well, nothing that I'd want to do. Perkins Street just isn't my kind of scene. Unless you like watching all the young'uns doing their little drunk grinding mating ritual on the dance floor.
The Pub isn't too bad though. Guinness on tap, good hard music on the juke (which my sister and I take over and makes sure that's all it plays!), and a couple of pool tables along with the local color make for a very colorful eveing.

Oh yeah. Good times... Well, for us old ones anyway.

ahh, cool deal. yes, it's a sleepy little town, especially for those of us who cant even get into the pub etc. but then again, i just end up working and being productive more, so thats good, i suppose. it's an alright place, but one that I can't wait to move on from.
