- Cartoonists Association from Romania preparing a bigger exhibition.
- We invite you to participate in this cultural project.
For this you need to send the portrait or caricature of Ion Luca Caragiale ([link] ) and/or Mihai Eminescu ([link] )
- Will be printing a catalog of exhibition. All participants will receive the exhibition catalogue free of charge.
- Digital designs must have 300 dpi resolution and size 21x30 cm or bigger.
- You must send, also, artist photo and a brief biography. They will be printed on the album.

I like your stuff, I've yet to see anything which should be considered offencive.
You seem to get the point across without being narrow minded, and just tell it how it is etc etc. I could go on.
American's (in general) can really be stupid. The insults aimed at you are probably those of people that think everyone's a terrorist appart from America etc.
There are loads of political artists which seem to say war on terror is bad, you don't.
America pretty much gave you your ammo (a bit like they did to Iraq) in names like "Operation Iraqi 'Freedom'"

I have a question for you sir. Where were you on 9/11 how many of your country's people died, how many innocent lives lost to the Taliban and those in league with Al Queda? You sir have a horrible picture in your head of what we as Americans are and what we stand for. I've had friends killed over there and I for one have no intention of telling our people to leave. We are Americans, we help people, people who are under tyranny and those who are oppressed. You and your country may say, Fuck you to the people around the world who need help, but we don't. You don't get to critisize us for trying to make the world a safer and more just place for all people. Well sir to you I say Fuck you and Fuck this Canadian Prick Glogauer who paints our military like murderers. I don't think we did anything like this to you and I don't believe you are out there fighting this war. We are fighting and dying over there so bastards like you don't have to suffer a 9/11. you should be damn gratful of all that people do to save your sorry ass from terrorism. The Brits are over there too, in Afghanistan, they're dying and fighting for the same reasons and principles we are. I am so damn proud of all the American and British soldiers over there fighting the good fight and I'll die before anyone trys to convince me otherwise. A British Staff Sergeant died in Afghanistan a few months back he had defused an assload of IEDs and saved alot of lives, he defused like 35 in a one day period. That is a hero right there. Even if the Brits don't exactly love America, I am proud of each and every one of their soldiers over there, they are among the greatest humans alive today. So next time you hear about the war on TV or hear someone mention it, think about all the people soldiers dying over there, and those who have been murdered by the Terrorists, and know that if they weren't over there fighting, your 9/11 could be right around the corner. -Josh Giurlani AKA JLMC. I was going to answer your Question(s), but after reading further it seems as though your mind is well and truly corrputed by propaganda.
Your argumental, rantng rambling isn't even remotely open minded, and doesn't even seem to be aimed at me specifically - as you seem to be making up my point of view, whereas know nothing about my nor what I believe.
I think you'll find I have a friend in Afganistan (not at the moment though) and was allso thingking of signing up myself...
You on the other hand, by your ranting of mentally one sided pro-America seem like the sort you would wave the Stars & Stripes wildly at a rapist or murderer, so-long as they were a U.S. citizen...
You have the deluded opinion the US are the World Police and all they can do is good - how deluded you are...
Now get yourself back to preparing to vote for Bush Jr. Jr. and definately don't put British forces in the same boat as US ones - their lightyears appart.

Sir, I am not deluded by the propoganda that is put out by the government. I don't care what you say about America but don't you dare put down the men and women in Uniform. I wish to be opened minded about issues like this, but to tell the truth I think others must be open minded first. Your point is valid, and at the point when I had my outburst, I was just frustrated. People very important to me have been killed over there, and I don't like people talking like that. I don't mean to talk down to you like Im all high and mighty, but I just am stressed out a lot. I have friends out there - though I have not known anyone who's have been killed out there (or anywhere else) - One of my friends is spending his first Christmas out there this year in fact (The British have 6 month tours rather than the American's usual year)
I thank you for appologising, especially so elequently.
I also appologise myself for making you boil over - I'm not overly good at putting EXACTLY what I mean across, and am quite often too blunt .
I rant similarly myself sometimes and my experience is that putting most opinions across without A LOT of thought usually does more bad than good

Thank you sir. Sometimes we as people become too wrapped up in events that we are involved in because of those who lead us, and we as people are just expected to follow. I question the leadership of politicians, and of the corrupt governments and those who control the economy and sit rich and happy while we all suffer for their inactions. I do wish to be able to openly discuss others opinions on most things, Except religion, unless we share common ground in that field. ok, ive looked at all your anti troop cartoons, and actually read every single comment. They are great stylistically speaking, but im going to agree with the rest of my soldier brothers. You have no idea what it is like to be a soldier, or to live in a combat zone for that matter.
I relise my comment will be read by blind eyes, and fall on deaf ears. Your art is only created to stir up anger. Its as if you draw, ironically, for the forces of evil.
The one question i have is: Most of the time your response to a pro war comment is the fact that your suprised a comment is made in response to a piece that is real old. Do you honostly think that after a certain period your excused from your terrible, ignorrant, mean-spirited art?

Well i guess everyone is entitled to there own opinions and that is what im fighting for.
It saddens me to some end that you choose and possibly whole heartedly feel this way about the united states military.
Sure we may have fucktards who slip through the cracks but mainly the united states military comprises of men and women who are intelligent. The events that happen (friendly fire) is regretable and ruins lives on all sides of the incident. When someone who doesn't serve and views from the outside in makes comments in any form of media is truly blind to the fact that his ego and self image is more often than not dirtier than those he watches.
I've been to Iraq, Kuwait, and Korea in my career so far and wouldn't you know it the people i serve next to are the finest human being out there. to see that people green side mocking at my country that i serve is dumbfounding.
1st ammendment doesnt cover "Fighting Words" and you, as far as im concerned, are spiting them at me.
i'll sit by though and still ill fight for your right to an opinion. Just don't expect me to allow you to look me in the eye.

Eh, I suppose I admire your dedication, though I find most politcal cartoonists the same. You're an EXTREMELY talented man, I'll give you that- more than I'd hope to be. I plan on becoming an artist myself, though I dont plan on getting involved politically at nay point. We removed the worst killer of the latter 20th century out of power. I wish you were there when we had to dig latrine pits around our FOB and found out we were at a mass grave site for a Kurdish uprising only 8 years before.
If you could only smell it you would be ashamed of yourself for slandering the liberators of Iraq. I hope Iraq's Republic fares well and one day history can thank us. Maybe one day Canada will be there to thank as as well for protecting them during the Cold War. But, I am willing to bet that is a harder sell.
