I live about half a world away. In BuFu Egypt, Kentucky. [I'm not a native, if you can tell....] The nearest I can get to an actual instructor in in Nashville or Louisville, which both happen to be two hours away in either direction. That's just my luck, I guess! It kicks in when I don't need it....

Have you tried DVDs? There are some really good ones out thefr My instructor uses them at home for personal dance training.

..These are just a few. You can google Belly Dance Superstars and go to their website. They have more in their store. They also have links on the site for costuming, clothing, accessories, etc. eBay is a good place for some supplies (Shimmy Bliss, Uber Kuchi).
