Actually I'm stuck in between three music projects, which bind my full attention and energy besides my regular job. I'm doing an experimental/ambient music CD with a friend, which will be released hopefully by end of this year as a real CD. Then I'm doing a digital solo ambient album, which I want to release this summer. And finally I'm still working on the score for an indian short film (a hostage thriller). Phew, that's a bit much for the moment, but I enjoy being so industrious, even if it costs me a lot of sleep :-P

I hope you are well and your new recordings with Garage Band are fun.

Hi Mark!

Apologies for this much too late reply!!! I had some severe problems with a water damage in my kitchen, which kept and keeps me on the toes. It was a leaking radiator hose and the water crawled under the wooden floor into the insulating material. I guess there have been between 100 and 150 liters of water beneath my feet and I had to discard the whole floor and furniture. What a mess!a lot of chips!

Besides that I'm fine, though being single again, or because of that (?), haha.

Hope you are well. Being single is cool at the moment. Though I still miss her a bit, I celebrate my freedom by going late to bed and eating sweets before dinner, haha. The kitchen war is still going on, but that gives me exercise
At the moment I'm working on my new website. I want to get away from the blog layout and present my tunes more pro. Talking about pro ... how about your new toy? Any progress?

When I decided to start dating again, I made a decision that I would not turn down someone who smoked occasionally. I now know that I cannot date someone who smokes. It's a real turn off for me. I'm looking again. Wish me luck.

Not much advancement with the MBP. I've barely had time to start it up. Perhaps on my next vacation (soon) I'll get some time to play with it!

Oh yes, I know what you mean. Although I have been smoking myself for more than 15 years (I successfully quit in 2001), I also couldn't date s.o. who smokes, now. Good luck, my friend!

Hi Mark!

Finally I can write you back. I'm really sorry for that delay, but the job was quiet hard the last weeks and I had either no time or passion to take care of my private life.

Anyway, it's great to hear that you enjoy your new machine. Garage Band is a great tool, but beeing a long-term musician, you will soon want to have more control over your tracks. I'm very happy with Logic Express 9 so far and I still recommend it to everyone.

No worries about the late reply. I'm late replying too. I've been busy too - with work, a new lady friend, and gigging more regularly (3 this month alone!!).

I love that MBP. My kids and I will be setting up iChat this week so we can video/audio chat and stop using the phone. I have been too busy to even start looking at garageband, but hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will get a moment to play. I have almost 2 weeks of vacation coming up in another week! I probably will get Logic eventually. I get a bit of a deal on it as well through our employee discount!

Any way, if i have any questions, I know where to go! Take care and I hope your work slows down a bit. Any new tunes?
