Hey guys. If any of you can help me, I would really appreciate it. I'm from New York and will be moving to London in the fall to attend St. Martin's College of Art and Design. I need to choose housing, but since I have never been to England, I'm not familiar with any of the neighborhoods. The maps the school gave me are so vague, I compared them against a good street map of London and could not find any of the places they had marked off. sure - don't think any of us know london that well, but i have a few ideas. there's a tower block over looking hyde park where you get to see live gigs for free from the comfort of your own home (with binoculars). seriously though, what kind of budget you looking at? london aint the cheapest of places right now.

Welcome home. This is the place to be to find out about what's going on in Britain. By the way, Big Brother isn't really that good at all, but if you are keen ~This-Time-Imperfect does a great update every now and then.
Your contributions to this page are very welcome. For the sake of all the members, we need as many of them as possible to write for us regularly or on one off articles. The only problem with that is the big brother section, it would be alot to write a whole two weeks thing, and by then no one will care anyway.

the big brother feature does not exist so as to detail the every move of the house-mates, that's the idea of the tv programme.

cycled to oxford today to have breakfast. i locked up my bike just next to where the webcam is. i could see it between some windows in the tower.

it's 3/4 of the way up a tower. if . = the camera, it is positioned between two windows thus: ^.^ you can get to the top to look in a telescope, so i assume you must be able to stop on the way up and break into the camera room...
