How do you get the inspiration to write something? I've been stuck.

Usually, since I write fanfiction, I like to watch/read about/look at pictures of what I'm writing for first to get myself into the mood, then keep in mind the goals that I have for a particular scene that I want to write. Story ideas tend to come to me in little snippets, and my favourite thing to do is to think about how to stitch them together into a story. In order to do that, I have to think about what I want to happen in the next scene, think about how it might happen, and then write it from there; then I can go back and edit it so it flows smoothly from the previous scene and into the next scene. If I get stuck on a particular scene, I start it with dialogue to get the ball rolling and then come back later and write an introduction if it needs one.
I hope this helps even a little.
