At least I could say thanks in a restraunt, admitately the server giggled at my attempt. I think I said it more like "jane dobrey" because I thought it was "jane" not whatever it actually is XD Also Czesc comes out more like Cheshk XD I have most trouble reading and spelling Polish because unlike in French the alphabet makes different sounds, so I learned to say what I know, not read it, so I'd fail talking to anyone online.
Had a huge slip up at uni, girl in my class called Marcelina, I thought she was French, said so to her face, turns out she was Polish... oops XD She still liked me afterwards.

Well, we use "dzień dobry" for morning and noons and afternoons, just the evening change for "dobry wieczór".
