# About me

My name is Grayson Judd. I live in Washington State in the U.S. I check in with Deviantart at least twice a week. I joined so I could follow Nintendrawer's art uploads and keep a record of my favorites, but as I saw everyone else's drawings and stories I decided I should upload some of my own stuff. BEWARE: I draw when I have time and the mood strikes me and those two instances don't overlap as often as you would think. I am also a perfectionist. mix those two things together and it means I upload far and few between. Expect singles maybe once or twice a month from here on (7/19/13 incase you're wondering when I wrote this bio) and if I ever do write a comic expect me to upload only when it is finished. I don't like to keep people waiting for future chapters. if I do write a comic I will finish it completely and then upload a chapter a day. I like drawing cars and Mario and company. I am a MxP fan and a LxD fan but I am not obsessed with their relationships. As for cars I like Old School American Muscle.

No prob, You have some written some awesome stories by the way. I especially like "talk about an out-of-this-world adventure" very cool premise.

Β

By the way did I catch that you're from Australia. If so you live in an amazing country/continent mate. Been there myself and can't wait to go back.

up the east Coast. Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, and Bowen. I went there as part of a group of student ambassadors. We learned about Australia's history, wildlife and various dishes (btw IΒ love vegemite). I visited in July of 2005, I was about 11 or 12 at the time.

yeah, I decided there was little point in changing his age with mine - thing is, I made him when we were more or less the same age I won't be able to design him particularly well unless I stay a few years ahead of him, in a way XD

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-21 05:53:32 +0000 UTC]

nah - besides, I'm down in Victoria, and my school woulda been way too small to get your attention - well under 300 kids when I started there XD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-21 06:03:27 +0000 UTC]

wow sounds like my school, only a tad smaller. unless you mean in both the primary and secondary parts of the school, then its a lot bigger. or if you mean your class then my school is smaller. 150 in my graduating class, you be the judge.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-21 07:22:48 +0000 UTC]

Well, most primary schools here are separate from secondary schools (high school), which of course are separate from tertiary schools (college/university), so it was all of my primary school I was referring to, which was all of the school - prep to grade 6

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-21 08:04:21 +0000 UTC]

300 kids 7 grades including prep (what we call kindergarden) we are easily 2.5 times your size. dang and I thought my school was small.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-21 08:21:58 +0000 UTC]

actually, we have kindergarten too - it's for 3 and 4 year-olds, then prep starts at 5

the school's bigger, now, but obviously I'm not there, so I don't know just how big it's gotten

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-21 16:46:13 +0000 UTC]

I get it mate. I know how big my school district is but only cause I help around all the schools and know most of the teachers.

I'd like to change subjects so I gotta ask. how did you come up with Krazy?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-21 23:35:35 +0000 UTC]

Oh really? That's very civic-minded of you ^^ on ya, mate.

Well Krazy just came about initially as an avatar - I wanted a koopa character because I find their culture really fascinating, and they're a pretty badass race. Visually, he was based off what I knew of the koopaings - Larry and Ludwig were my favourites, so that explains the hair. Over time, I started to be more of a Mario fan than a Bowser fan, and I started to realise that I didn't want anything of a malicious avatar, so I started developing Krazy on his own so that he was more like me, and in support of the good guys - sure, he was a koopa, but he wouldn't stand a chance actually making it in a place like the Koopa Kingdom where physical competition was kind of a thing, not to mention being cunning, which he really isn't - plus he wouldn't be happy living there anyway. I built him something of a life and started accenting physical and personal features and developing them over time, i.e. his backstory and parents, his hobbies, his small frame and his darker orange scales. Actually, the latter was a colouring error to start off with

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-22 06:13:43 +0000 UTC]

Cool,Β butΒ your answerΒ leads to a new question. What made you change from a Bowser fan to a Mario fan?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-22 06:35:26 +0000 UTC]

Well I was largely a Bowser fan because King Koopa was the only reason I watched the cartoons for his great dialogue - but after getting to know the series, while Bowser was cool, I found that I just found other characters more interesting. Besides, I never really found it easy to sympathise with a villain or a character with questionable morals. Bowser has a really cool personality in games, but when you judge him by his actions he's a madman - which admittedly is still fun to think, read and write about, but eh. I guess my interest in the series expanded a fair bit overall, and through that expansion I got new favourites? Hard to judge what makes one character 'better' than any other.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-22 06:42:54 +0000 UTC]

True very true. I have seen the series too. all three of them; The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, Super Mario World and The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and it is hard to judge what makes one character 'better' that any other. Although I have always been drawn to the protagonist.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-22 06:49:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, protagonists are great XD especially the morally-infallible ones. I know a bunch of people like characters with more twisted morals because they're interesting, and I don't disagree, but that makes them less respectable at times, imo - 'tis why I always play the good guy in RPGs XD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-22 06:57:03 +0000 UTC]

true. there are a couple games that I play where the protagonist happens to be the bad guy though (mostly Need for Speed games). So besides Mario games what else do you like to play?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-22 07:14:40 +0000 UTC]

Basically whatever - of course other Nintendo games like Zelda and Pokemon are big titles for me - Spyro, Crash, arcade games. (Not a huge fan of Sonic, but that's a mild dislike, really - similar to my lack of comprehension for the Fifa series) I love more 'mature' games, too - shooters like CoD and Gears of War (while I don't own them, I love playing them), Age of Empires has been a favourite since I was about 9, and Mass Effect's one I've been really into for the last little while. Plus, Valve. Just Valve. Holy crap those guys are great.

Really, I play just about anything - Retro CasualCore, you might say what about yourself?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-22 07:19:15 +0000 UTC]

I am a racing games fanatic Need for Speed, Forza, Midnight club you name a racing gameΒ I probably played it. I also like old school Sonic (before the 3D format slowed him down) and first person shooters, but only if they have a good story line like bioshock infinite or Laura Croft Tomb Raider.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-22 07:28:14 +0000 UTC]

Haha, I'm mostly for Mario Kart - although need for Speed is a game I have fond memories of, not to mention some PS1 Formula 1 racing game I had as a kid.

Ah yeah, so you're one for story? I guess that'd make the games you play pretty damn epic. I'm reasonably easily satisfied with story, which I perceive as both a gift and a curse. Far as I'm concerned, Minecraft has a damn good story I've been told to get into Tomb Raider by a friend of mine who's a Playstation fanboy - he's also told me a helluva lot about The Last of Us - have you played it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-22 07:31:37 +0000 UTC]

Played Tomb Raider and it is an awesome game and am just about to start playing The Last of Us. You caught me just before I started.Β Heard it was awesome though and I've talked to some LP friends of mine who all say its a pretty awesome and tense game.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-22 07:37:41 +0000 UTC]

Haha, yeah - I've been forbidden by my friend from watching LPs to avoid spoilers before I play it

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-22 07:42:46 +0000 UTC]

didn't watch the LPs just talked to my friends. I don't know a single finite detail about the game except what I see in commercials. Hey if you play Bioshock Infinite don't watch an LP cause if you do you will definitely ruin the ending.

Β

By the way I play my gamesΒ on Xbox Wii DS and PC. What's your platform or choice?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

KoopaKrazy85 In reply to hometownboy93 [2013-07-22 07:50:29 +0000 UTC]

sure thing I should get onto Bioshock, actually - after Mass Effect 3, of course

I have a Wii, WiiU and PC, by means of current-ish gaming. I'd love a 360, but hell, I'll get it when it's obsolete have a DS, but it's not working atm.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hometownboy93 In reply to KoopaKrazy85 [2013-07-22 07:54:06 +0000 UTC]

You'll probably get the 360 when I do. I mostly play most of my 360 games on a friends system. First things first though, I need a car.
