crayon drawings? take that as a compliment, i love crayons

and I don't use anything really. My camera knowledge is quite shallow. I just play around with the exposure and I compose things in my mind. Take a simple digital camera (olympus 3020zoom) + me = smelly marker drawing.

oh and thanks for commenting too!

models are fun but hard to find... i feel a little awkward asking my friends.
augh and all i have been thinking about is university..

congrats on the camera! when college started, i went out and spent $1000 on a Nikon N90s. it's an AWESOME camera. Nikon really is the top. i hope you enjoy yours as much as i do mine. i just wish i had more time to get out and USE mine. it seems like the only time that i have to go out and shoot nowadays, is when i have a Beginning Photography project to do. hope to see some more of your stuff up soon. it's been a while since you've submitted, though i'm guessing that school is keeping you as busy as it is me. take care nonetheless. say "hi" to 'the lady' for me too will ya?!

To answer some of your questions:

"Abstract Views" shows just a glass, filled with coke and photographed from above. That's all! And that's why i wrote "it is nothing special".

That writing "What A Beautiful Day" in "Beautiful Day" IS on the mug originally, it's not manipulated. I wanted to make a series with that mug, but at the moment i'm a little bit lazy, so that's the only picture until now.

"Underwater Breakfast": It's so clear because that swimming-pool is not very high, it's a cheap plastic-pool, and the water wasn't moving very much.

only 2 secs eh? damn more than 95% of my pics would be lost if i only had 2 secs heh....

doesnt ur camera have a bulb setting? (if it has a dial where u set the exposure time then it would be marked b y a 'B', well, it is marked thus on most cameras made in a certain timeframe...) it should have if its fully manual... if it does it would most definitely have a cable release slot... thats all u need... u can expose stuff for however long u want then...

cell phone magic was well with a cellphone.. my friend suped his up w/ this bright blue backlights and I used a 4 second exposure and told him to "Rave it up" lol It's quite fun actually. anyways take care of yourself!
