I await new stuff. Especially because you have a good taste. If you could actually involve selfdrawn ponies. The problem with your art is that the ponies dont integrate in the background(yeeaaaa, only color, but thats it). I don't try to brag but check out [link] . Maybe also avoid black spaces like you did [link] here. Mess around more, experiment. Put disadvantages to advantages (and with enough imagination EVERY disadvantage can be used).

By selfdrawn, do you mean a vector or an actual drawing? If you're referring to vectors, I do have the skill and knowledge necessary to vector ponies. As for actual drawings, I'm still learning how to draw, so that'll have to wait.

And thanks for the suggestions! For the most part, I'm experimenting with Photoshop, but I will keep your recommendations in mind.

By selfdrawn, anything made by yourself. Because: Other's people stuff is harder to integrate. Also, lines can speak. Every single line can. Somtimes vectors were made listening to completely other music than you using them for example, and the feeling wont be hit too much unless you use very generic impression catchers.
Images need to integrate. You need to hide the edges between elements.

So, even a selfmade vector would be better.

After a slightly longer look at your profile and whatnot, I'd just like to mention that it's nice to see another Linux user (especially one obsessed with Dash) on dA! I don't use Linux much anymore, as Windows is perhaps one of the easier platforms to create games for what with all the libraries and whatnot, but I would like to get back into the Linux world at some point.
