haha yeah true!

idk there happened...so much?? I'm studying communication design now (like, 3 years by now) and I was in Korea last fall semester as exchange student, I'm working on/worldbuilding an original comic since 2016 and I'm slowly stressing out because I need an internship next semester and I really really wanna go into character design but graphic design is easier to get one in I guess..
oh I also hosted my very first fanzine and participated in a bunch of others too!

Erm, I completed my traineeship as a forwarding agent and stayed with the company for a year.

After I did an internship at the Sydney office and explored Australia a bit. Coming back to Germany I found a job as a forwarding agent and then switched to the other side by taking a job in the shipping department of an international trading company here.

Also bought an apartment in my hometown last year that needed a lot of renovating so I've been super busy.

haha well my Korean is very basic but it's enough to ask for directions, go to a restaurant or grocery shopping, for the rest I was mostly speaking English, also because we were an insanely huge group of exchange students and the Korean language class I had there was really crappy.
And the zine was about the major f/f ship in Haikyuu!! who tend to not get a lot of actual content although everyone ships them?? anyway, it was super fun and I participated in a lot of other Haikyuu zines throughout the last 3 years as well (and the most recent was for Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, it was a blast to work with, I got the printed zine 2 weeks ago )

Internship in Australia sounds really exciting!! when I hear Australia I mostly think "outback" and don't know how the rest actually looks like, so I'm curious how Sydney is like - and congrats to graduating! (is it kinda like graduating? idk )

I also can imagine it's super stressful renovating, I've had enough with moving 4 times throughout the last 10 months and I'm super glad I never had to paint anything over and just assamble my furniture and boxes (which is mostly IKEA) Idk if that helps but my dad has his house for 4 years now and still isn't done with it, and I mean he already lives there for 3 of them ^^

Ah, Haikyuu. Still haven't watched that for some reason.

Yeah, it was super exciting but Sydney is the total opposite of 'outback'.
I did do a short two-days trip to Alice Springs and Uluru though so I got a bit of that as well.
Though I did spend the remaining time in the coastal areas.

Yeah, maybe I also didn't push myself enough and was too shy because I sucked without practice but this also doesn't give you more practice... anyway, I'm working on getting better with apps and actually good books, though!

Haikyuu made me interested in volleyball even though I HATED playing it throughout all of school idk I think it's super motivating in general and you fall in love with every team and want everyone to win, so I can only recomment it! it's cute

Maybe I should go on vacation to Australia at some point...

Aaaahhhh Hamburg, I almost studied Illustration there! (But then I failed one entrance exam lol) But yeah, makes a lot of sense with the port and everything

Oh well, I first moved out of my shared flat to my mom's when the semester ended so I don't have to pay double rent and I kinda didn't want someone else use my furniture (idk I was just kinda happy to leave my flatmate because I just wanted something new anyway), then I moved to Korea, from Korea back to my mom because I didn't have a flat in my uni town yet, and now in freaking June I finally got a room again, half a year after I got back from Korea

Oh boy, 40 years is quite something! This explains why it takes so long. Do you need to redo the entire electricity as well?

I think I moved 7 times in my life, 12 times if you count at my dad's too but we've been there only at weekends n stuff so idk if that counts ^^

If you finished the anime, make sure to read the manga!! It seems a lot but when I started the manga (~130 chapters back then, now it's at ~210) I actually binge-read it in a few days because it's so addictive. And god, it's so worth it. The fandom is also really friendly nun

tumblr is very different, and currently I am mainly on twitter because it's more moderate

I haven't been in dA community for quite a while (like the forum etc) so I have no idea how it is now, but I heard a lot say that people hate and flame each other for no real reason. Tumblr is good for sharing, and especially for fan art, but the sjw can be a handful (they flame you immediently if you stop being their "precious cinnamon bun too good for this world, too pure"), but so far I've been spared by those and anon hate. I guess it depends a lot on whom you're with etc.
idk I met a lot of nice people there and these are mainly those people I still have contact with on twitter (back in the days, tumblr's messaging system was just shit, so twitter was easier, and we kinda stick with it)
I try to spend very little time on tumblr rn because it can be very exhausting and emotionally draining, but it's good to get your art seen & get in touch with fandoms

 Also if you wanna get yourself tumblr, make sure to get the new x-kit extension because the staff ruins the codes pretty much as soon as a new update comes. xkit allows you to customise a lot as well & block tags etc so you don't have to see that content.

I've been off and on in DA for over a year.. and it's getting a bit boring, actually. I read from people busting at each other for no reason, so far I haven't got any problems.. I hope it goes on this way.. o v o'

All the muscles and everything is right there, it's all so amazing !! The expressions !! I agreee !! It's all so wonderful !! He is absolutely among my faves too !! He's such an amazing mangaka ! I'm not fond of sports manga/anime but this is sooo good !! Everything makes so much sense and it just drives you through the chapters ~when I finished reading the last chapter I almost died, I neeeed more....! Oh the training camp...*w*

I've been on tumblr for several years and so far didn't get any anon hate ( others really have an issue with that but I generally get no messages/asks which can be very boring so *shrugs*) - most people I have met were quite nice, and you also can say that you don't want to receive anon messages or even entirely put off your ask box. 
I met most of the people through "oh this blog I follow reblogged a lot of their art - heck they are good/funny/nice, maybe I should follow them...? - HUH THEY FOLLOWED ME HOW COOL IS THAT?!?"  It helps to have a fandom (e.g. haikyuu ) where u just go through the fandom tag and look for cool people.
swjs - depends a bit which blogs u follow how exposed you are to them. but yeah, if people tag stuff properly, you can also ban those things

xkit is a chrome/firefox (idk if for safari too..?) extension, idk what you use but you can search for "new xkit" in the extensions section, it definitely should be there. I found it quite helpful especially with all the ads yahoo threw on it, and it also has gimmicks like pokémon that you can collect while scrolling through your dashboard.

tumblr has its ups and downs... but it can be quite handy sometimes.

YELLS I REALLY NEED TO KEEP UP WITH THE LATEST CHAPTERS I ONLY REMEMBER THAT KAGEYAMA ARRIVED AT THE TRAINING CAMP AND !!!!!!

I realized one of the reasons I want a tumblr is to burn a few fandoms.. X'D Deviant Art is too serious for stupid fanart and laughs, I need  people around me to be as stupid as I am so I can have some nonsense fun X''D

Kageyama and Tsukki both were characters I had to learn to love, but tbh I probably don't have a single character I seriously dispise or don't like, it's more like I don't quite care about them - but I get you haha
My absolute faves are Oikawa, Yachi, Bokuto, Suga, and Matsukawa (and. probably all of the others heh)

and I definitely get the Hell Days - the last week alone was quite a ride to me too so *pats your back* it's alright!

and yes! tumblr is great for silly jokes etc so yeah! maybe give me your url if you make one!
with tagging, at some point tumblr changed it that only the first 5 tags will go into the tumblr-wide tag/appear in search results, but I'm not sure if they changed that back.. (also a good thing to know as starter: tag your fandom/ships, also or especially if you reblog posts, just so you find things months later when you REALLY NEED THEM - a good tagging system on your own blog can save yourself from despair, I'm speaking out of experience here :'D)

Oh, don't worry about swear words, I got quite used to them by now :'D (idk writing with Americans for 2+ years changes you a lot)
But good luck with the comic! They can be a pain in the ass sometimes... I hope you'll find your vacations soon ;D

Also, don't worry too much about tumblr, you can change your theme at any given point, also with those users coded themselves, but it's usually easier (especially at first and if you don't know much about twerking html the way you need it) to use those from the free tumblr suggestions from "choose a theme" - it might not look perfect and shiny but for starters that's quite normal and nobody thinks it's weird. (plus you save yourself from going insane, haha)
I didn't have any modified/user-made themes until year 2 or 3 on tumblr. I had a theme called "Redux" (which they don't have in the "official" tumblr theme section anymore but I'm sure you'll find the code somewhere to paste - it's quite neat for art/pictures and writing alike and makes it easier for links and pages etc)
hmmm yeah...

Oh gosh and yes, Akaashi hhhhhh my pretty son! And dON'T GET ME STARTED ON USHIJIMA WAKATOSHI ISTG I LOVE THIS KID HE IS SUCH AN ADORABLE DORK AAH!!!!
