Hi - thanks for the nice comment
The E-1 is wonderful - previous to this I have had E-10 followed by E-20 - both very nice cameras too.
The E-1 is excellent at lower iso equivalence - not so good at 800+ - quite noisy at that level. Also "only" 5MP but when you think that mostly the 2 * 3 format used by almost all other DSLRs will be cropped down to standard paper sizes [if indeed you are printing] then a good deal of the extra resolution will be lost and thrown away.
The E-300 or Evolt is ok but the images are quite noisy - roll on the E-2!!
