Not at all. It's very inspirational. When people ask me "why haven't you been working?" I simply tell them..."I had to grow up."
That means emotionally an artistically. My work is vastly different from the early 90's to now. When I heard/read you story, in knew I wasn't alone in my struggles, then I knew someone else out their might hear it, get off the mat and start drawing again.

I just completed my first artist alley sitting, an it was great! And your story was part of the inspiration for that. It made believe their is still hope, and i'm not out of this yet.
Just be you, and share as much information you learned, when asked.

Oh wow! That's fantastic. Hearing you say you had to grow up is a great thing to learn about yourself. It doesn't mean wearing dockers or driving a minivan but understanding responsibility, learning to deal with people honestly and professionally, and also learning what you can and can't do and being honest about that is something quite a few pros never come to grips with.Β
I'm glad you came back to it. I always tell people that I didn't really have a choice in drawing comics again. It's what I love and I would eventually get back to doing it no matter what. I'm glad you're not alone, hell, I'm glad I'm not alone!Β
