It gets your art seen Go to the home page and click on groups and you can go into those groups and join then and then submit your art, So the people in that group sees your art. There are general groups like photos and traditional and literature and then there are narrowed down groups like fan pages and such You get messages from the groups you join full of the new stuff in their group but if you dont want those messages you click on friends on the top right and click manage friends at the bottom and you can sort of unwatch them Very useful if you joined tons of groups.
