I go to UMD. I haven't updated in ages either. I design a fair amount. Right now a few friends and I are trying to get some shirt designs done and hopefully get some cash flow from it. I really do need to spend more time with Illustrator. I have literally no idea how to do anything in it.

nice, i know a bunch of ppl who go to UMD. good luck on the shirt stuff, its hard to get noticed on vote sites. but just incase you have not heard there is this site called Redbubble.com u can upload a ton of shirt designs and if your good they will sell. i have a ton of stuff up there.

in meh I meant me, not meh.
No 3d stuff at all, most of my stuff are partly vector partly raster art.
and yea I really loved it, its glossy and sexy.

most of all I use photoshop, illustrator for shapes and lines sometimes, but most of the work is done in photoshop

what did you do to study/learn how to give those awesome shiny and bright colors?
o-yeah did i mention i love your color there so bright. any tips or hints?
im really suprized about that you do most of your work in Ps its amazing how long have you been doing this kinda stuff?

ive been designing for like six years so.
I never studied anywhere, when I do an Icon lets say, I dont use blending options on a layer (gradient overlay, shadow, etc.) I paint them with the pen tool and add gradients and soft brushes.

my best tip is to imitate, I.e if you see something you like in my grallery or on the internet for that matter, try and do something similar, that should help you realize where to put the right colors and highlights to get and item shiney or soft for your next works
