Absolutely~! I don't think it'll be of much help because my way of doing BG's are all over the place lol. Anyway, first, you gotta have the picture of the background you want to draw inside your head. And then sketch it out as accurate as you can or just a rough sketch as long as the idea is there. And then pick out 2 colors that would suit the theme and lay it on top of the sketch. Make sure the layer you're using the gradient is on multiply mode. Aaand once you have the mood the rest would be pretty easy.
