Wait...you dropped out already?!
I mean, not that I can *really* blame you although I do think it would have gotten bettter in the BFA...also, I want to give Fine Arts a try myself, perhaps....but yeah, no wonder I haven't seen you around at all.
We shall indeed see each other at Anime Boston...are you going through the Anime Club, or on your own? I'm actually cosplaying, how crazy is that. My talented friend Dia is making me a Princess Ai costume.

Ah yes Blasted typos.
Btw, I found your use of hiragana in 'Nothing but a One-Armed Bandit' quite interesting. Did you take classes or are you self taught?

thanks for the comment. The dragon was designed for a tattoo, the long tail is meant to wrap around the arm. That is what the guy wanted me to do with it.
normaly I try to be as accurate as possible with anatomy though.

To your comment...I don't know if it is acutal photography, I mean if you break it down: Someone took the shot, sold it, and I re-took it to publish. Lol, to me it's just boredom, but whatever.

thanks for the comments on my recent Bebop wall, "Is it Real". Actually, I did a lot of retouching and cleaning up on the image. I even had to recreate some of his hair and parts that were covered up with text. This is not the exact scan (flushaggy provided me with a better scan than this) but it's from the same source and you can see the differences. [link] And of course the background is mine. besides, i was going for a more overall look and not a cut and past job as you claim.
anyway, I hope you get a chance to browse through my gallery and view my other anime walls, including more Bebop. thanks again!

hi there!
Well thanx for pointing out those errors but i'm not one who'll flame you just because you dont think its good
well the idea isnt very original but it does the me and abycat if you didn't read the description,i live in Singapore and she's in America. Our time difference is 12 hours thus the black and white ying yang sign at the background.Another point would be I can't draw guys for nuts and well abycat can't draw girls^^'''
So we came up with that idea
Heh...I appreciate your crit and no i'm not here to flame you-_-
it wasn't a very original idea i know but im still learning and so is everyone else in DA.
Thanx again for the crit and telling me where I could have improved on it
hope you don't think i came by to flameyou or something^^

Don't worry about it, this is an art site. If people can't handle the fact that were trying to help them make better stuff, then it's their loss.
Later on I'll hafta look around your gallery abit. Hehe, lates.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

The coiled photo was a slinky, I taped the ends together, and tried very hard not to get that part in the shot.

Thanks again for your thoughts!
about the fire-- the purpose of the fire is explained in brief in the poem in the description... it says -a ring of fire to warm your limbs.
about that orange thing in the top corner-- it is a moth added spontaniously, which holds meanings that can be found by the viewer, for the viewer, and for my own stimulous. There is a bit of motion indicated in the wings, which are pointed in the direction of the foggy bank, giving that diagonal push to the fog, thus providing a clear view of the ocean water beyond the rocks. The theme of dance is also in the slight motion in the moth's wings... if this were an animation it would clearly be much more effective because the moth would be identified by it's insect movements, and the fog would reflect the wind currents created by the moth's fluttering.
The warm colors of the moth and fire not only lend interest by spot color, but may also represent the sunrise, or sunset which is absent from view but present at location just beyond the fog, which shrouds it.
These various things may only be visualized with a little extra time and deeper insight, which is hard for some people based on their daily schedule, so please don't think I was offended by your critique, for it always makes me think deeper for my own benifit and hopefully yours too.
Thanks soo much!

Thanks!
I was still pretty rusty with drawing when I first did this piece, so what you sugested is exaclty what I would have done to restore it the way it would be for realistic purposes. I did not use fixative at the time I first drew that picture, so it lost whatever definition & depth I did put into it from miss-treatment.
Thanks so much for your great observation report!

Thanks for your thoughts on my late submition...
I rarely draw wings of that sort so I just tried to make them different from the norm. and gave them a stiffness and misshapeness to add to the pain the creature presented from falling.
Tanks again!
