it's also one of my favorite books. i like more how he's just... separated from reality.
we don't read books for like class, unless relate to the topic. i have to read everything by myself :s

haha... i actually like most of the books i read for ib english because they are mostly translated / world literature works. my favorite so far for world lit would be 100 years of solitude by garcia marquez. it was definitely a toughie to get through, but it's definitely good thinking back. the sound and the fury is also a good one, though that one was pretty confusing. what are your favorite books?

i tried to read once (and i really knew the author's name) of the sound and fury, but another of his books but it was way too hard for me. the english was really though.
now as for fave books:
100 years of solitude definitely is there, the count of monte cristo, les miserables, the tunnel (this one is short but SO good),shibumi, aztec, the old man and the sea, love in times of cholera (i hate it but im a romantic). these as for world literature. i really enjoyed alice hoffmann, dogs of babel. all of these books i wouldn't mind being thrown to an island with them :d
