# About me

I am by trade a photographer and for many years I photographed model portfolios and I published a book of photographs back in 2005. But painting has always been one of those things I wanted to do. The only thing that kept me from doing it was talent. But my mom is an artist and she encouraged me to try it, so a few years ago I started. I don't think anything has brought me more joy than the process of painting. Like golf, it's frustrating most of the time, but when it's working, nothing feels better. I've never sold a painting, so I won't consider myself an artist until I do. Until then, I'll keep on painting.
