Fellow Tauntonite! Well, I'm from Raynham. But Raynham is pretty much mini-Taunton with a giant milk bottle. Cool.

thanx for the good words and +fav on Hot sand Cold water

i myself am running on a dialup connection lol - so spare a thought for the poor bugger (moi) who had to upload the damn thing. heh.

i want to get a new camera too. well. first i want to win the lottery so i can get the camera i want. Sigma has this new camera out that just blows the socks of the others. Instead of using the crappy CCD technology where there is a checkerboard of red-green-blue light recievers (which means an algorithmn is needed to convert that garbled data into a picture, resulting in crappyness) the new Sigma uses this whacked out three layerd wafer where one reciever picks up all the colour data for one pixel! This means it is basicaly emulating exactly the functioning of a traditional film camera.
I've road tested one and it's freakin amazing. interchangeable lenses and everything. only problem is that it costs more than most people could afford

i still recomend going down to your local camera store just to play with one though and maybe running off with it

thanx again for the kind words and favorite

Hey Aaron. To answer your question about the panoramic...it's not the first time I've done it...just the first time I've had so much attention doing it. Basically I can't stich multiple photographs to any sort of cohesiveness. So I developed this style instead of forcing photographs the merge seamlessly together to form a panoramic. I started in February for a photograph titled "Bethlehem Steel" . There's about 8 or 9 other such types of multiple-photo puzzle-style compositions in my gallery, and you can see how it's evolved over the past few months. Anyways, sorry to ramble. You've got a nice gallery here, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work here. Take care!
