Hey Tommy, I made a wedding ring at the end of last year but apart from that I haven't made any jewellery for a bit. I went out to crystal mountain and got some very pretty stones in the weekend so expect some more jewellery for me soon. And there is quite a bit of other stuff from last year to post at some point. I've mainly been drawing lately tho.

Hey ya. I looked at my Neighbours... and you were 1.8km away (or there abouts) I live in Bayswater... so pretty close. Most of my friends live in Devonport area.
I actually really love jewellery (not that I wear it or buy any, which is strange ) have done lots of designs/concepts. Yeah. Studying at AUT - Bachelor of Digital Design. 1st year. Heaps of fun.

well. Did you go to Taka? I grew up in Belmont and have a sister closer to your age. Some of my old school friends are still living in Devonport and Narrowneck etc. I'm with mum in Taka at the moment but will be flatting on the city side sometime in the very near future (hoping to get a place I looked at yesterday)

I studied a 'diploma in jewellery' for the past 3 years at Hungry Creek ( a small private art school in Puhoi). Finished at the end of last year. This year Im just trying to get my feet off the ground if that makes sense. I want to be self employed eventually...

Anyway it wouldn't suprise me at all if we knew some of the same people. It is a very small world afterall.

Hungry Creek. I've heard about that place... I remember it's nestled in the bush. Must be a great artistic environment.

I went to Belmont Intermediate. Then to Rosmini. Wasn't my scene, all my friends from school went to TGS... Yeah I probably would know/know of your sister. I know most people up to 3 years younger than me, and some older, in the Devonport/Taka area. What year is your sister in? Or when did she finish school (if not at school)?

Her name is Michelle Cooke. She's 20. She left Taka halfway through 2004 and moved to Christchurch.

Hungry Creek worked ok for me. There are good and bad things about alternative education in my oppinion.

Thank you elenista. Nearly all the pieces are made from scatch from sterling silver. I work a little with wax and it is always mentioned in the description of the piece if I have done so. Im glad you like my work

yes!i find it WOW!
im working too on silver directly(which i find more interesting) but more with wax and thats because i dont have any ''tools'' at my place (wheel,fire etc.) because of money and i dont have any space for that ::

yeah , I know what it is like not to have a good set up etc, all these things I have posted are things that I have made last year when I had access to tools while I was studying. While I do have the main basics now, my set up is so bad and I dont have a proper bench. Im getting really frustrated at how long it is taking to make a single piece. argghh

Keep working at it and Im sure you will have the space and the tools you need someday.

well, I had a look at your other work. And it is great. But personally I judge how much I like art by the amount of emotional reaction it creates for me. The 'eye see' prosthetics really do do it for me.
