# About me

My whole life I have loved everything about animals: training them, drawing them, caring for them, observing them. Over the summer, I volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation hospital where I work primarily with corvids and raptors. I now attend Cal Poly Slo, where I volunteer at a WHAR, (Wolf Hybrid Adoption and Rescue), and train raptors. I have my falconry license, work with peregrine falcons, and currently own a red tailed hawk.
I taught myself to draw in 8th grade by buying several drawing books to develop my technique. I typically draw animals, but my love for some of my favorite TV shows prompted me to learn how to draw face portraits as well (though i still find it MUCH easier to draw animals). I do most of my work in mechanical pencil, though I also enjoy using sharpies, acrylic paint, and Paint Shop Pro 9 occasionaly for a change of pace.
