We're safe and mostly sound. Partner is still pretty gimpy, but he's healing.

Yeah, I just need a chance to recuperate and get things set up for winter. Already getting cold here. If we'd had temps like this up north, the moose hunt might have gone differently. Lots of work to catch up on and I have to go back to my job on Thursday. As sucky as the hunt was, I'd rather be back doing that than going to work.

Jobs aren't thar fun but its worth it to see the paycheck. And I'm pretty sure you would want to exclude the downhill accident if you had to go back to hunting.

Yeah, I need the money, that's for sure. You're right about skipping the accident part. That was so NOT fun. Partner is still limping. I have a feeling his leg is never going to be right again. When you're in your 40's you don't bounce back like when you were a teenager.

Yeah, well it's been a few weeks now and he still has trouble bending it and kneeling down, so I'm not optimistic. Plus he's not taking care of it the way I think it should be tended. He's too stubborn to admit he's hurting and to go see the doc for an MRI.
