Hello,
My name is Pinkpolkadot. I see that in this comment you have used the word "Webcam". I don't know much about the "interwebs" and am curious if you could explain what that is.

I've sought out an answer in ever knick and crany I could lay my eyes on but no one seems to know how to answer me. I'm beginning to think this is a difficult question to answer. If so you do not have to answer me back.

Most people respond with, "Its a picture" or "its a cam" or "its for the web". I just don't understand the meaning of this. Is it a picture, if so then why do they move?

Pictures don't move.

But if it is a cam... well what is a cam? Are they referring to a camera? If so, I don't have any clue how they could be broadcasting this image from the White house.

I fail to see how cameras have anything to do with anything! I mean aren't they just mechanical devices that capture still image from real life? And when did they start trying to sell me things?!

I'm just so confused I don't know my elbow from toes. I can't even talk about this anymore, I'm getting so confused. You know what, I'll just ask you one simple question.

Do you know what a web cam is? There. That's all I am trying to say.
