That guy who had the real fleshy robot stuff told me how he did it...

"The trick is to do as much a possible before you even get into photoshop... For the cyborg pieces, I had 3 shots, one for the human part, one with the empty background and one with a big piece of clay with metal stuff stucked in it. The biggest part of the work was to sculpt the clay piece in such a way that it would create the effect I was looking for... then it was a simple matter of compositing the 3 images together, using only layers and masks..."

So now we need a good camera and lots of cables and junk oh and clay! I'll have to either borrow my dads camera or rent one
