I have been attracted to art and poetry when I was a child. I often find myself pulled to ponder about complicated events, ideas, people, things in the world. I believe the creation of art, in its many forms, is intimately related to this pondering. On the one hand, it is fascinating to see just how profoundly art can express contemplation. On the other hand, it is also part and parcel of contemplation.
