Mela is a feminine guy in general...
In your commission journal it does say that you will draw shotas
Please try harder 
Plus being able to draw both genders will be a good venture for yourself
I'm not putting any time limit on this so take as long as you need to 
I would really appreciate it if you didn't change my mela darling into a girl
You don't even have to draw Mela's fish friend Oki if you don't feel comfortable drawing fish

I would also like to point out...
It's rude enough to have forgotten about our art trade and took around half a year for me to remind you
when i made yours the very next day, working hard into the night, to create you a perfect little custom puppet with your desired features including a separate shaded line art
I had to send you multiple links to the OC description page which shows lack of interest 
I also find that your rushed mannerisms are quite insulting
And as i said before
I am picky about my OC since i love him so much
He is a precious present from someone
So please don't change his gender to suit yourself 

I know that was a bit harsh
But take into consideration the people who you are trading with and hold yourself professionally
I think that would be a good lesson for future collabs and art trades with other artists

I look forward to seeing my Mela (shota) with or without Oki
I bet it will look amazing
Don't rush yourself
Just keep trying~

I have somethong to say. I am really insecure about my art. None of my mates likes it, and here it doesn't seem to matter too.
I will draw him. I won't, but I will try to do my best.
I have a very bad memory, and school is really killing me. They hope I study and they give me the most difficult exam.
It isn't lack of interest, I've had some problem with man... So that is why I am insecure and worried about drawing some.
Rushed? I am not a native speaker, so I do not know all the manners, I talk like I was taught, not like an American.
I will try to do it, and my original intentions never were to change his gender, they were intended to ask you if you had a female character since I am more comfortable with women.
I am 13, and I try to be mature, but I see people do not liking my art so that makes me feel bad and I may not draw again for a week. I really like and love my art, and so my family, but I do not really like posting it here. I take my drawings as if thy were gold, and seeing them being minuspreciated makes me want to leave devianart.

I will, but I have had problems with man so that is what keeps slowing me.

Firstly i live England thus I'm not american
Secondly...
You have fine talent and works of art 
You should take more pride in them
Who cares if other people don't agree with it
Just do what makes you happy and one day you'll prove them wrong
They are beautiful and free flowing with near perfect proportions
Proportions are one of the hardest things to get a hold of 
Believe or not i used to have problems with women like how you have problems with men
But i worked really hard and so far so good
Now that you know you aren't very good at drawing men
you should try and learn how to draw them and expand your horizons

I also had a past where i was insecure and worried about my art work
And i still am to this day
When i was in school i couldn't bare to show my class my art book
It's something i still haven't overcome
I have so much anxiety xc
But Deviant art has given me a bit of a chance
So don't leave DA
You never know what surprises are in store for you
To remind you again...your are is beautiful~ ^^

Please do not take what i say as a way of telling you off
But it would highly benefit you if you study up on your English
for example: just adding a "please" and "thank you" can go a long way ^^
Also that would reduce miscommunication and benefit you in the long run

I do not have a female OCs that i can reference you with
So sorry to say that you are stuck with my melamela

P.S. Mela is 13-ish so even as a girl he would have no chest area(boobs) and would still have short hair
So either way he'd still look the same haha ^^ 
Like i said before Mela is very feminine
