Thanks a ton for the info! I've been trying to figure out how I'll need to do things in the professional world, and it helps me so much to hear from somebody with professional experience.

Well, let's see... for me, I'm Scot (my friends call me Jimbo), American, 19, near Washington D.C.... I've been drawing cartoons and comics for as long as I could hold a pencil, and I want to use that medium to bring Jesus to the masses through their TV's and comic book stands. I've been playing video games and watching anime for as long as I can remember too, so those are a huge influence in my style.

I've only just started doing artwork for commissions. I've been doing fine art competitions all through high school, but I prefer stylized, over-the-top cartoony stuff, especially with a Japanese animation drawing style to it.

So you're a missionary in Japan? I've been thinking a lot about finding some way to go into the mission field in Japan, and using animation and graphic novels as a ministry... I just really want to see some anime with a powerful Christian message.
