As someone from a socialist background, who was raised with socialist values and beliefs, and is also a politics student, I take offence at your definition of 'socialism': the theft of peoples hard earned money through taxes so that politicians can stay rich? It's a re-distribution of wealth, you moron. It's only fair - what's to say people who work hard for their money work harder than people who don't have much money? Nothing. Background, circumstance, luck all contribute to one hard-worker having more money than the other.

I know my comment is pretty pointless, that's why I'm trying to keep it short and not writing an essay on why I'm left wing and socialist (but I'd still support communism if it was realistic in this country). I mean, you're evidently far too ignorant and just plain stupid to open your eyes and accept others' opinions and views, and maybe even, gasp, change yours and realise you're WRONG? I think everyone should have the freedom of speech and actions, with limitations of course (e.g., guns should be illegal in the USA, I'm lucky to live in the UK where they ARE illegal), but at least show some minimal evidence that you don't have your head so far up your ass you're beginning to turn inside out. It's fair enough prefering to take a politically neutral stance as opposed to being either left or right, but, dear god, at least make your stance informed! You're just so stupid! I hate using such crude and basic language but I fear it's the only thing that you'll understand. This is where I'll leave this comment. I'm just going to continue laughing at your ignorance and stupidity by reading the rest of your journal entries and comments. and as far as concealed weapons go, my mom has a permit for a concealed weapon,and she also thinks handguns should be outlawed, but she lives where everyone else has a handgun too. just because someone has a handgun,and carries it with them,doesnt always mean they want to. when you live in a neighborhood where stopping at a red light can get a gun pointed in your face,along with demands of "get out of the car bitch!" you may feel more secure with even terms.handguns are made for one thing.killing. and in some places they are easier to get than prescriptions for your sick kids.do i think handguns should be outlawed?yes. do i own a gun?yes.do i plan on getting a concealed weapons permit? yes. so as far as the guns go, look at it their point of view,not just your own.
