You're welcome and same to you!
Really love your DSO pics
I'm pretty much restricted to planetary imaging and very bright DSOs with my equipment.

Good evening, Nicolas. Thank you so much for the fave on The Quiet Man (1) andΒ The Quiet Man (2) . I'm happy that you like Bruno Peter's portraits. I attended his memorial Saturday. In the evening we boarded a boat, and had a burial at sea in Monterey Bay for his and wife Patty's ashes. The day was sweet and sad. It was very nice to be among his family and friends.
Regards,
Ed

You're welcome.
I really love the shots you made
By the way, how high in the sky are Jupiter and Saturn for you right now?
Saturn is really low for me for example and the Cassini Division is lost to the atmosphere.

ThanksΒ Β Likewise, you've done some great astrophotography, as well.
They're both around 40-ish degrees above my horizon, so on a good day I can usually resolve a lot as far as cloudtop details or the Cassini Division.Β

Thanks.
40-ish sounds really nice. For me Jupiter is a bit over 20, Saturn and Mars are below 20.
In 2 years Mars will be well over 40 for me though, hopefully there is no global dust storm then ^^
I guess I'll have to wait for Saturn and Jupiter some years before they get to the 40 deg mark.
Today I managed to find Venus with my XT8 during the day and got some ok results despite the strong wind.
Probably going to try get some crisp images of Venus over the next 2 to 3 months.

I'm quite well, but busy. I got my B.Sc. last summer and am currently putting most of my time into passing exams for the my M.Sc. with good grades.
Every now and then I take a look at DeviantArt.
Hope you are good and well.

Hi, Nicolas. You're always one of the first to fave my new stuff, and I really appreciate it. As you can see from the date onΒ Failure To Communicate , it seems to take months for me to finish anything new like this (though I'm usually working on a few things concurrently). I hope you're well and doing fine with your studies. What are you majoring in nowadays, if might ask?

Hi, Ed. I'm quite well, though a bit in stress because I'm learning for exams.
I'm studying Computer Science and if everything goes well I should be writing my Master's thesis next year.
Hope you are doing fine as well,
Nicolas

Good morning, Nicolas. How have you been? Maybe by the time you read this it will be morning, and for me it will be dreamtime. Thank you for the fave on my selfie of sorts Contains Mature Content? Β with my doggie. I'm still amused that people like it.Β Been busy preparing to promote my art with a new website and social media, but I'm eager to get back to actually making art to show soon.

Thanks and how are you ?
So far it has been a bit hectic because of work and exams are coming in 2 weeks.
I might upload some other pics later since I'll be modelling a dentist's chair for work.

Nicolas, hello. Thank you very much for faving "The Shaman". Bu the way, how long have you been doing 3D? I haven't touched 3D modeling or motion graphics in 3 years, but about to start again. Lots of projects in the works, painfully slow as they are. Anyway, best regards to you, and I wish you a very productive and creative year ahead.
Ed

Sorry for this reply taking some time.
Had a lot of work recently.
I started 3D about 5 years ago - nothing big just tested out mapping in Hammer for Source Games.
2011 I started my first project in Hammer(which sadly isn't finished due to the lack of time),
2012 I started making my own textures with normal and spec maps.
Also since summer 2012 I got a part-time job as a 3D modeller - I'm doing maps for virtual therapy sessions.
Right now I trying to get into blender for more detailed work and animations.
Thanks for the comment and I wish you too a productive year !
Nicolas
