oh I've given up on really producing some sort of masterpiece. I've taken to just writing what makes me happy.

Honestly, I think that's the only way to stay sane. It's one of the reasons I took a sidestep into visual arts. There I still get the old rush and fizz of delight I used to get every time I finished a poem.

I think it's that learning curve plateau death that does it - when you stop getting good at a skyrocket-leaving-the-atmo rate and start feeling like you're leveling off. Souldeath.

At least personally, I have no idea whether I plateaued or not as I never really had a good handle on where I was. It's more just the trying to write something "good" that drove me half mad. Well I din't need a driver to go mad but you get what I mean.

I'm back, I hope, and was looking through my message centre. There's a pile of replies from you, to conversations we were clearly having. They were fun.
I want to reply again, but then I might lose the conversations entirely, and I'm a sappy soul. Also, it seems almost sacreligious to reply at this point, it's been so long. Replies always seem to get more daunting with every day they're put off.
And I feel so guilty about my non-replies that I was only brave enough to slink onto your page and post this at an ungodly hour of the morning. So now that my crazies are out in the open, wanna chat again? I even promise to post writing.
