It's... not an adaptation, exactly, I just decided to write it as a comic instead of a novel ^_^;

Oooh very cool. The most I've done for a comic is a page's worth, but I find it's a lot of work. How do you like it so far versus novel writing? Not sure if you are doing it traditionally or digitally, but Manga Studio is pretty nifty for making comics.
Right now I'm reviewing biochem, (interesting but harrrrrd ;-; ) but I'll need to transition to chem and orgo pretty soon.

Yeah, that's what I'm using (Clip Studio Paint. That's all I ever use, because SAI isn't available on mac).

Uhh, it's easier than I thought it would be. I mean, my focus is on the story, so 90% of the work if the same - character development, worldbuilding, etc. If I'm doing a novel or a comic, the final product is just the top coat. If I tried to do a movie or something, that would be a lot more difficult, but...

Oh! My bad. Was it always called CSP? OTL All this time I thought they were different programs. (But I really love their inking pens and panel making tools! I have one of the older versions.)
Considering that you're making comics, CSP > SAI anyways.

Ah that makes sense, and you're completely right of course, story should be the major focus. And you've done a lot of the hard work already, having established characters, setting, etc.

Yeah I have to agree. I've read a number of shojo mangas that are not well developed, but I knew going in that it was going to be superficial. But I know that's a bit biased since I tend to read more of those. I realize though that having a good or bad story has nothing to do with genre. 

Of course, you're putting a lot of effort into it, makes it even more important that you are content with how fleshed out your story is.
