Just checked out your portfolio, which is filled with excellent work; I really like your art style. The bold colours and super-cute nature of your illustrations is very appealing; plus, you're a Smash player, so it goes without saying that you've got good taste in videogames.
So, a question, if I may ask please; who's your main in Smash? I'm guessing it's probably Toon Link, but I might be wrong; I frequently am.

Many, many thanks for the compliments! I try to emulate what I like about Nintendo's art and give it my own flair. Smash has always been one of my favorite Nintendo series, so I'm glad that's readily apparent.
As for my main, it is, in fact, Toon Link. Mostly delved into his playstyle in 4 and Ultimate, but I have been playing him since Brawl (my first entry in the series!).

Not a problem! I think that the Nintendo influence really comes through in your work; the smooth lines and vivid colours really capture the quality of the character designs. It's pretty difficult to go wrong with such great source material, but I think that not only do you do justice to the characters, but you also bring elements of your own experience and style to the piece, and turn them into something beyond standard fan-art.
Toon Link - awesome! So, my Smash radar is still operational, then.
To be honest, I'm fairly new to the franchise; I've played it in drips and drabs since Melee, but it was only with Ultimate that I really began to appreciate what a beautiful game Nintendo have produced. When you play 'serious' fighting games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, it's pretty easy to write Smash off as not being a true example of the genre, but I'm willing to admit my ignorance; I was totally wrong, but I'm making up for it now.
As for my main, I'm not entirely sure! I haven't unlocked all the characters yet, but I already have a soft spot for the legend that is King DeDeDe; I hear he's bottom tier, but I tend not to take much notice of the meta. If I like a character design, I'll play them regardless of how they rank; besides, you can't go too far wrong with a rocket-propelled megaton hammer.
