I wanted to say hello and welcome to deviantart.  I have been a deviant for over a year now.  I found a journal that really inspired me and helped me.  Here is the link.

Also, the "give" drop down button has a llama badge that you can give for free.  I use my llama's in two ways.  

First, a way to say thank you for favoriting an art piece.  If I have already given the artist a llama and they have favorited one of my pieces, I will give the artist exposure on my page in a status update and then on my social media networks.   I want the artist to feel like their art was enjoyed and appreciated.

Second, I use the llama as a way to draw deviants to my page and potentially my gallery, journals, etc.  So that they can get a sense for my artwork but also as an individual. 

I have found this to work well for me, but everyone is different and you may not want to use your llamas for these reasons and that's okay.  My intention is to let you know that the llamas are there and that they are free, in case you didn't know, and give a couple suggestions in ways to use them. 

I noticed with your art piece you use digital, I too use digital as well as traditional.  I am new to digital painting, oh, I would say within the last year.  I use sketchbook pro and if you visit my page you will see I am part of the sketchbook pro group.  I have found being part of a group, that if I have questions they can help answer them.  Also, I find that other artist may be struggling with the same struggles that I am and if I post a solution or if they post a solution, it helps the users of the program and the individuals with their art.  Also, most groups have challenges that encourages us as artist to grow and to become better artist.
