From what they said it's shelved for now, but they plan to continue it in the future. But right now they're currently focusing on another Gorillaz comic project.

Hi there,

I really love your Gorillaz Comics. What I really love most about them is Murdoc's old art style from phases 1 and 2. I know some people like their new style, but I honestly prefer their old look. I also like how you used the same style of drawing to create the side and background characters. Very clever.

Personally I would really love it if you made some more, but I do understand the need to move on and inspire to head onto other projects.

Either way, I will still remain a fan of your work and keep looking back at your comic series.
