well.. I'm not the right person to teach u about drawing..... I don't even have the constant mind about any material I used before... Well, what can I say, sometimes it's difficult to choose one medium over another... Just trust ur instinct and never get bored to use multiple choice of materials. I usually use rough sketches of pencil combined with touch of watercolor, copic, or even digital coloring done by photoshop.... Mistake is human, never afraid to make mistake.... good luck... Hope this will be useful for u
