I have to comment that I really LOVE your work! It's like a cross between Burton and Kay Nielsen. Love it. I look forward to seeing more!

Hello! I left a message on your Cinderella's Prince.

Hi, sorry for the delayed response. Cinderella's Prince is both an idea I have for a future costume and a simple illustration of the fairy tale character.

OK If it is not for a play, then we aren't supposed to add it to our theatre gallery. So sorry!

Hi samfae98. Welcome to our group. We're looking forward to your theatre artwork. Β Have a look at our interesting affiliates, too for those wonderful non-theatre artworks you do.

Your style is so interesting...why don't you illustrate the costumes for a play - whether it is a real play or not is immaterial!

samfae98 In reply to LocationCreator [2014-08-19 00:22:21 +0000 UTC]

I think I will. Any suggestions for a play that I should illustrate the costumes for?

Gosh. There are so many good ones...Shakespeare's lovers are always fun - Romeo and Juliet, Antony and Cleopatra, Lady MacBeth and King MacBeth and so on...And that is just a small bit of Shakespeare!
For 1930's period garments look at Β plays by Tennessee Williams..."The Glass Menagerie", for one. For existential ones, consider a play like "No Exit" The musical 1940's radio hours has lotsof pre- WW2 war fashion.
La Boheme (The opera) has ( i think)French early 1800's. Seriously, I'd just open a theatre anthology and pick one.
