I finally got a sandwich without the spread and it was so good.Β Usually, I would go to Carl's Jr and deal with the service problems, or Jack in the Box and deal with the lower class of meat.Β Everything was busy on that side of I-40 though.Β I might post the photo, if I haven't already.Β It doesn't look nearly as shocking as it was.
When I was in the San Fran Bay Area, I ate a lot of tacos.Β I even went back to the old neighborhood where I lived as a little kid and ate at this one place, and it was like being at home.Β I swear the person who started the business must have been the woman who taught my mum how to make them.

I couldn't take the spread another time.Β It's too much like a Big Mac or Big Boy sandwich with the tartar sauce with ketchup mixed into it.
Have you ever tried Checkers/Rally's?Β They have some stores in Orange County, but they're mostly along the east coast.Β They're like Carl's Jr./Hardee's but thinner and cheaper.

In 2006, I stopped at Rally's on Beach Blvd. south of Knott's Berry Farm, since I was looking for something satisfying that wasn't Korean food, since I'd been eating a lot of Korean food while staying in Garden Grove.Β I wish I was living there, but everything is so !@#$ expensive to rent and houses are impossible to buy.
