# About me
Born 1947, Sydney, Australia. Grew up in San Francisco. US/AUS. Citizen.1957 - student of Marine Biology, California Academy of Sciences.
1959 - Began surfing in at “Kelly’s Cove”, Ocean Beach - traveled the Central and Northern California coast extensively.
1965 - Graduated George Washington High, SF.
1969 - Animated surfing cartoon, TV commercials, Scientific films (animation) and Commercial Art - AA degree in Commercial Art, SF City College.
Interim - Some Commercial art jobs but mostly the most horrible jobs you could believe from the 'Tenderloin' district of SF to 'sweat shop' factories.
1978 - Bachelor's Degree in Biology, San Francisco State University.
1980 - First really cool job, Harbor Patrol Officer, Pillar Point Harbor, Half Moon Bay. Assistant Harbormaster, Oyster Point Marina, San Mateo County.
1988 - Bailed out, relocated to Hanalei, Kauai and began Fine Arts with second job as electrician.
1992 - Survived Hurricane Iniki.
1996 - Traveled to the South Seas and New Zealand.
2001 - Began sculpting and built bronze foundry, casting own work.
2002 - Europe
2008 - Began computer "painting" in Corel on the side as bronze sculptures became large and switched casting tasks to Artworks Foundry in Berkeley, CA.
2013 - Made first 'monumental' Bronzes (At least to me)
2014 Became aware of ZBrush 3D sculpture and haven't left the house since.
Surfed all my life, but now restricted to Windsurfing and Boogie boards (although I did stand up on a surfboard in 2015). Have been known to Paraglide, sail, scuba, play tennis, badminton, ping pong, make videos, write short stories and play the 'Ewi'.
Have 3 great (adult) kids, Corinne, Damien and Zachary, all in CA.
Live on the beach in Hanalei, Hawaii with my spunky, pretty blond wife and 3 wild cats. Just got my hands on a 3D Printer!
